Don't Forget Your Own Role

Otftentimes, we as family members spend so much time focusing on the health of our loved ones with challenges, that we forget the toll it can take on ourselves. If we aren't addressing our own challenges, we are in no position to help the people whom we love. Remember how hard it is for your son, daughter, mother, etc. to be introspective at a challenging time, and maybe that will help you turn that perception in on yourself, as well.
